Durango has no shortage of beautiful views at any time of year and we found some gorgeous, snow-capped mountain views in the high country that made this wintery maternity photography session in Durango absolutely stunning.
Newborn: A Cowgirl's First Ride
We captured a tender moment at the newborn session, where our tiny cowgirl posed with her saddle, symbolizing the beginning of her journey. Supported by both parents (a composite image I created by removing the supporting hands in Photoshop), and surrounded by country-inspired fabrics and surrounded by rustic props, she looked absolutely precious.
Sitter: Growing Up Fast
At seven months, our little cowgirl was ready for her sitter session. With her saddle by her side, she sat up with confidence and curiosity. We captured her bright eyes and infectious smile, dressed in a charming cowgirl outfit complete with a tiny hat and boots. Her personality shone through in every photo, showing just how much she had grown since her newborn session.
First Birthday: A Rib-Smashing Celebration
The culmination of our milestones package was her first birthday session, which featured a fun and unique BBQ rib smash. Instead of the traditional cake smash, our little cowgirl enjoyed a BBQ rib feast, making a delightful mess that highlighted her adventurous spirit. Her saddle was once again included, showcasing how she had grown over the past year.
